What to expect from Chinese car brands at the Paris Auto Show 2026
CarNewsChina figured out what to expect from Chinese car brands at the Paris Auto Show 2026, which starts on October 12. There will be at least seven all-new models. Moreover, this Motor Show will be attended by 20 Chinese brands.
According to the list of exhibitors for the Paris Auto Show 2026, there will be quite a few Chinese brands. We will see cars from 212, Aito, BYD, Changan, Chery, Denza, Forthing, Foton, GAC, Geely, Jaecoo, Leapmotor, Li Auto, Lotus, Lynk & Co, Maxus, Omoda, Smart, Xpeng, and Zeekr. There are 20 in total. And there are seven confirmed global premieres awaiting.
Geely Monjaro EM-i
Geely Automobile will reveal the Geely Monjaro EM-i plug-in hybrid crossover with a dual-motor AWD. It was previously launched in Egypt and Azerbaijan. However, it will come to Europe for the first time. What is more, this is the export-focused model, which doesn’t sell in China.
Dimensions of the Geely Monjaro EM-i are 4800/1895/1700 mm. It has a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine under the hood paired with two electric motors. Their combined power output reaches 305 kW (409 hp). It speeds up to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. Another highlight is the continuous damping system. The Monjaro EM-i can run up to 130 km in electric mode on a single 29.8 kWh battery charge. The mixed range is 1,100 km with a fuel consumption of 5.4 liters per 100 km.
Lynk & Co 07 GT
The Lynk & Co 07 GT will debut at the Paris Motor Show 2026 as the brand’s first station wagon. It is a sleek model with dimensions of 4848/1900/1485 mm. The 07 GT offers a 614-liter trunk as standard. It offers a 15.4-inch touchscreen, a 95-inch augmented reality head-up display, and 23 Harman Kardon speakers.
The Lynk & Co 07 GT adopts the EM-P plug-in hybrid system. The AWD variant adopts a 1.5-liter engine, a 3-speed DHT gearbox, and two electric motors. This model offers a combined peak power of 390 kW (523 hp). A 28.3 kWh battery is suitable for 170 km of CLTC range (139 km WLTP). The combined range is 1,315 km.
Li Auto i6
Chinese NEV maker Li Auto will debut in Europe with the i6 five-seat electric crossover. According to China EV DataTracker, it is the current brand’s bestseller, with 16,979 units handed over to owners domestically in August 2026. Dimensions of the Li i6 are 4950/1935/1655 mm. The car’s center console stays in line with other brands’ models. It offers a block made of two 15.7-inch screens.
The RWD variant of the Li Auto i6 has a single e-motor in the rear axle for 250 kW (325 hp). The 4WD variant has an additional e-motor for 150 kW (201 hp) in the front. The system’s combined power output is 400 kW (536 hp). A CATL-made LFP battery for 87.3 kWh powers the e-motors. The RWD Li i6’s CLTC range is 720 km (590 km WLTP). The AWD model runs up to 660 km CLTC (541 km WLTP).
Xpeng G9L
Xpeng will introduce the G9L crossover that had previously entered the Chinese market with a starting price of 241,800 yuan (36,065 USD). This car’s volume production will begin at the Graz plant in Austria. The Xpeng G9L is a large crossover with dimensions of 5120/1999/1782 mm.
Despite boasting a 5.1-meter body, the new model is available with five seats only. Its interior adopts a large touchscreen, a thin LCD instrument cluster, an augmented reality display, a 9-inch streaming rearview mirror, a touchscreen for the rear passenger, and a ceiling-mounted 21.4-inch screen.
The all-electric Xpeng G9L comes standard with a single electric motor on the rear axle. Its peak power is 270 kW (362 hp), suitable for a zero-to-hundred acceleration time of 6.8 seconds. It can run up to 702 km CLTC (576 km WLTP) on a full 91.9 kWh LFP battery charge. The dual-motor AWD variant of the G9L EV adds a 160 kW (215 hp) electric motor in the front axle. The combined peak power output of the system is 430 kW (577 hp). This version can run up to 660 km CLTC (541 km WLTP) on a single charge, thanks to the same 91.9 kWh battery. There is also a bigger 110 kWh pack for 755 km CLTC (619 km WLTP).
The Xpeng G9L EREV comes with a dual-motor AWD as standard. Its powertrain comprises a front e-motor for 160 kW combined with a rear one producing 230 kW (308 hp). The combined peak power output of this version is 370 kW (496 hp). It speeds up to 100 km/h in 4.95 seconds. A CALB-made 63.3 kWh LFP battery powers this system, ensuring 435 km of electric range under CLTC conditions (357 km WLTP). The G9L EREV adopts a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol-powered engine for 110 kW (148 hp) that acts as a generator. Thanks to a 60-liter fuel tank, the G9L has a mixed range of 1,602 km (CLTC).
Zeekr 9X
The Zeekr 9X will also debut at the Paris Auto Show 2026, as this model will enter the European markets shortly. This SUV previously entered the UAE. It offers hefty dimensions of 5239/2029/1819 mm. The 9X is available with 5 or 6 seats in China.
This SUV comes standard with a plug-in hybrid system, which comprises a 2-liter engine and a couple of electric motors. The combined power output of the system is 660 kW (885 hp). Two battery options are available: 55 kWh for 300 km EV range under CLTC conditions (246 km WLTP) and 70 kWh for 380 km of CLTC EV range (312 km WLTP). There is also a tri-motor trim with a combined peak power of 1,030 kW (1,381 hp). It runs up to 355 km CLTC (291 km WLTP) on a single charge.
Leapmotor D19
The Leapmotor D19 will be released as one of the EREV cars with the longest range. It’s a massive family driver with dimensions of 5252/1995/1780 mm. The car’s interior offers two layout variants for seven and six seats.
The Leapmotor D19 EREV comes with a dual-motor 4WD with a combined peak power of 300 kW (402 hp) as standard. Two battery options are available: 63.7 kWh and 80.3 kWh. The BEV range lies between 400 and 500 km under CLTC conditions (328 – 410 km WLTP). Thanks to the 800V system, the D19 charges the battery from 30% to 80% in 15 minutes.
The BEV version of the Leapmotor D19 adopts a 1,000V system. It comes standard with two e-motors for 410 kW (550 hp) and two batteries for 99.6 kWh and 115 kWh. The electric CLTC range is 620 – 720 km (508 – 590 km WLTP). The three-motor version of the D19 EV is also available. It has a 115 kWh battery on board and a peak power of 540 kW (724 hp). Its zero-to-hundred acceleration is 3.94 seconds.
Smart #2
The Smart #2 will debut in Paris as a two-seater styled by Mercedes-Benz. This small EV stands on the Electric Compact Architecture (ECA). Its dimensions are 2764/1669/1555 mm with a wheelbase of 1,875 mm.
It adopts a permanent magnet TZ160XS00A electric motor with a peak power of 60 kW (80 hp). The car can speed up to 140 km/h. It is powered by an LFP battery with cells supplied by CATL, and the total assembly is managed by Geely. According to previous reports, the #2 adopts a 35.8 kWh battery for 410 km of range under CLTC conditions (336 km WLTP).
