Lynk & Co 900L flagship SUV debuts November 10 with 5,280 mm body and Range Rover-like styling
Lynk & Co will debut the 900L, its new seven-seat plug-in hybrid SUV, on November 10. The model expands the brand’s large SUV lineup with a third seating configuration alongside the existing five- and six-seat versions.
The 900L features a redesigned front end with Range Rover-like styling, roof-mounted LiDAR and a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine rated at 160 kW (215 hp). Its planned Chinese market launch is scheduled for late 2026.
Redesigned front end and Range Rover-inspired profile
The 900L adopts a wider, integrated front lighting assembly while retaining the standard 900’s door-shaped daytime running light signature. The main headlights sit within the revised front fascia, alongside redesigned lower bumper openings and larger air intakes. A LiDAR sensor is mounted at the front of the roof.
The vehicle’s profile closely echoes the Land Rover Range Rover. High-gloss black pillars create a floating-roof effect, complemented by flat body panels, flush-style glazing and a vertical trim accent along the front door cut-line. Lynk & Co offers an exclusive Mellow Wine Red finish and has launched a public campaign to solicit name suggestions. The SUV also features 21-inch multi-spoke wheels and semi-hidden door handles. At the rear, a full-width light bar incorporates an illuminated LYNK & CO logo.
The 900L measures 5,280 mm long, 1,999 mm wide and 1,810 mm tall, with a 3,170 mm wheelbase. Compared with the standard 900, it is 40 mm longer and has a 10 mm longer wheelbase, while its width and height remain unchanged. Both approach and departure angles are 20 degrees.
Seven seats join the existing 900 lineup
The six-seat 900 entered the Chinese market in April 2025, followed by the five-seat derivative in April 2026. The 900L’s seven-seat configuration is confirmed in its regulatory filing, although Lynk & Co has not released detailed cabin measurements.
Third-row legroom, rear-seat access and luggage capacity with all seven seats occupied remain undisclosed. These details will help establish how well the longer body accommodates the additional seats.
The filing lists three curb weights: 2,880 kg, 2,965 kg and 3,045 kg. Selected versions can be equipped with a towing device rated for trailers weighing up to 2,000 kg with brakes. The available information does not establish which battery or equipment configurations correspond to each weight.
Dual-motor PHEV powertrain details remain incomplete
The 900L uses a BHE20-EFZ 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with a maximum gross output of 160 kW (215 hp). Subsequent media reports describe a dual-motor electric-drive system, but have not disclosed individual motor outputs or combined system power. The engine’s rated output is not the total powertrain output. The listed top speed is 225 km/h.
Those reports also identify two ternary lithium battery options, with capacities of 55.1 kWh and 70.0 kWh and claimed CLTC electric ranges of 320 km and 430 km, respectively. Lynk & Co has not confirmed these figures in its November 6 announcement, and they do not appear in the original regulatory filing. Times Geely (Sichuan) Power Battery Co., Ltd. supplies the battery cells, while Zhejiang Jiyao Tongxing Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is identified as the battery-pack manufacturer.
Autohome has also reported air suspension, but its availability across the range is unclear. Lynk & Co has yet to identify the driver-assistance system or confirm the functions supported by the roof-mounted LiDAR.
Commercial context: 900 sales contract sharply
The original 900’s monthly deliveries fell from 7,048 units in October 2025 to 629 in September 2026, down 91.4% year on year. Its share of Lynk & Co’s domestic sales also dropped from 19.1% to 3.8%, according to China EV DataTracker.
Lynk & Co recorded 16,584 domestic deliveries across its lineup in September 2026, representing a 1.0% market share and a 44.4% year-on-year decline from 29,836 units. The 900’s falling contribution coincided with a broader contraction in the brand’s domestic volume, although the figures alone do not establish a causal relationship between the two trends.
The 900L will enter a segment that includes large electrified SUVs such as the Aito M9 and Li Auto L9. Its seven-seat layout and plug-in hybrid powertrain provide points of comparison, but pricing and final equipment will be needed to establish its market position.
Lynk & Co has not announced Chinese pricing. The November 10 global debut should bring further details ahead of the planned launch by the end of 2026.
