Zeekr 001 Anniversary Edition launches with 2.91‑second sprint, 680 kW dual‑motor, from 50,400 USD

Zeekr has launched the Zeekr 001 five-year anniversary edition, priced from 365,000 yuan (50,400 USD), introducing a factory-developed FR-Line performance package and chassis upgrades while retaining the existing dual-motor powertrain configuration.

Performance-focused upgrade

The five-year anniversary edition builds on the Zeekr 001 Ultra+ dual-motor variant, retaining its 680 kW output and 2.91-second acceleration capability. Top speed remains rated at 280 km/h.

The model continues to use a 103 kWh Qilin battery under a 900V electrical architecture, supporting high-rate 6C charging. Official data indicates a 10% to 80% charge in around 10 minutes. CLTC range is listed at 680 km, slightly lower than the standard Ultra+ version.

FR-Line package

A key differentiator is the introduction of the FR-Line performance package, visually aligned with the higher-performance Zeekr 001 FR.

Exterior changes include carbon-fibre mirror caps, a carbon-fibre rear spoiler, a dual-tone glacier silver and black body, and anniversary-specific red badges. The model also features 22-inch forged wheels, Pirelli P Zero tyres, and Brembo six-piston brake callipers.

Chassis and handling

The anniversary edition adds a KW coilover suspension system as standard equipment. The setup offers 16 levels of rebound adjustment, 12 of compression adjustment, and up to 35 mm of ride-height adjustment.

Zeekr states that the suspension system was co-developed with KW over three years, with calibration involving over 200 parameter adjustments using a 7-post rig. The updates aim to improve pitch control and steering response.

Interior and cockpit

Inside, the model features a black-and-red FR-Line theme, with suede-like seat materials and embroidered branding. The driver’s seat includes active side bolsters, and the steering wheel features dual rotary controls designed for performance driving.

The cockpit integrates a 39.3-inch AR-HUD, a 13.02-inch instrument cluster, a 16-inch central display, and an 8-inch rear control screen. The system runs on a Qualcomm 8295 chip with Zeekr AI OS.

A 29-speaker, 4680 W audio system is included, along with heated, ventilated, and massaging seats for both front and rear passengers.

Domestic sales

Zeekr 001 maintained steady volume in China through early 2026, with monthly wholesale figures showing around 3,200 units in February 2026, reflecting a continued single-digit contribution within Zeekr’s broader lineup during a slower market phase. Year-to-date volumes through March indicate a cumulative monthly delivery trend in the mid–single-thousand range, with the model remaining one of Zeekr’s core volume contributors alongside newer launches and updated variants.

Despite intensified competition in the premium EV segment, the 001 continues to hold a stable position in the mid-to-large electric shooting brake category, supported by its refreshed 2026 lineup and performance-focused trims introduced over the past year.

Market positioning

The Zeekr 001 five-year anniversary edition functions as a factory-enhanced performance variant positioned below the limited-production Zeekr 001 FR, combining visual and chassis upgrades with an unchanged powertrain.

Within the Chinese EV market, it sits in the upper segment of high-performance electric shooting brakes, competing with models such as the Xiaomi SU7 Max and IM L6 Performance variants, while maintaining a focus on track-oriented hardware integration.
