Chery’s Jetour Zongheng F700 with 904 hp arrives at showrooms ahead of August 6 launch
Chery’s Jetour Zongheng F700 plug-in hybrid pickup trucks have arrived at Chinese dealerships ahead of their official August 6 market launch, giving customers their first opportunity to inspect the production model. Pre-sales previously opened at 364,900 yuan (53,900 USD), while final pricing, trim distribution and delivery schedules remain undisclosed.
The showroom arrival follows the F700’s earlier reveal and pre-sale announcement. We previously reported the model’s June debut, which introduced its hybrid pickup platform, followed by the July 20 pre-sale opening with a 1,300 km range claim and 53,900 USD converted reference price.
Showroom Arrival
Measuring 5,495 mm long, 2,050 mm wide and 1,985 mm tall, the F700 uses a 3,350 mm wheelbase and a 1,520 mm × 1,520 mm × 570 mm cargo bed.
The pickup features multiple cargo anchor points, a 6.6 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) external power output system, a tailgate panel integrated with the rear lighting design, and additional step areas behind the rear wheels.
The vehicle’s physical arrival allows customers to view the production model before sales begin.
Hybrid Power
The F700 uses Jetour’s Kunpeng Super Performance Hybrid CDM-O system, combining a 2.0T engine producing 155 kW with a two-speed DHT transmission.
The complete plug-in hybrid system delivers a claimed 665 kW (904 hp) and 1,135 N·m of torque, according to Jetour. These figures represent combined system output rather than the combustion engine alone.
The pickup adopts an 800V electrical architecture paired with CATL’s 4C dual-layer Shenxing battery technology. Jetour states a comprehensive range of up to 1,300 km, although battery capacity, pure-electric range, and charging time figures have not been disclosed.
Off-Road Hardware
The F700 is built around a non-load-bearing body structure with an integrated ladder frame, front and rear double-wishbone independent suspension, three differential locks, and 15 driving modes.
Inside, the pickup offers four- and five-seat layouts with a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, a 35.4-inch Zongheng Skyline display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 processor, Zongheng OS, and Falcon 500 driver-assistance hardware.
The model reflects the expansion of electrified powertrains into China’s larger lifestyle pickup segment, where manufacturers are combining off-road capability with hybrid technology.
The F700’s overseas rollout remains market-dependent. South Africa has confirmed a 2027 introduction under the Jetour P5 name, while left-hand-drive markets are expected to receive the model from late 2026. Other right-hand-drive markets remain under evaluation, with broader export plans yet to be confirmed.
