The Earth will have just passed between the sun and moon as this story goes live, creating a “blood moon” lunar eclipse and inspiring a couple of special edition 2026 Ram 2500 pickup truck editions: the 6.4-liter V-8-powered Ram 2500 Power Wagon and the 6.7-liter turbodiesel Ram 2500 Rebel. Perfect timing!
Celestial spotters will recognize these models by moon-rock-inspired Ceramic Grey Clear-Coat paint on the upper body and roof, over a night-sky Diamond Black lower body and the same black wheels the other models get. Ceramic Grey also replaces black on the grille surround, enhancing the monochrome look. Additional lunar graphics include a horizon stripe down the fender, doors, and bed side. Power Wagons lose the vertical bed-side graphic, but they get the Power Wagon tailgate graphic (which can be deleted). Fans of the brand will sense some serious déjà vu, recalling the similar 2024 Ram HD Lunar Editions.
Inside, there’s Natura Plus Black leather bucket seating embossed with either Power Wagon or Rebel logos, complemented by Copperhead Orange stitching on the seats, across the dash, on the doors, steering wheel, grab handles, and column shifter—no doubt inspired by that orange-y “blood-red” hue the moon takes during totality. There’s also a Mopar lockable storage console and a special alloy console-lid badge, with machined-face satin chrome lettering.
The cost for this “out of this world” cosmic package: $1,995. Of course, the Power Wagon requires purchase of an $8,545 Equipment Group, and the Rebel requires both the $12,995 diesel and a $6,545 equipment group, all of which bring the opening gambit to $86,385 for a Power Wagon Lunar Edition and $93,885 for a Rebel Lunar Edition. That upcharge mostly covers the snazzy interior and tape stripes, as those equipment groups already get the fancy leather.
You’ll have to wait a few more weeks to order the 2026 Ram 2500 Lunar Edition models, and they’ll still come with Ram’s recently extended 10-year/100,000-mile warranty.
